Krakow Salt Mine Tours – The tour usually lasts 3 hours in total. We can pick you up directly from your Hotel, drive you to the salt mine, explain and help you with all here and wait until you finish sightseeing. It takes around 30 minutes to drive from the center of Krakow to the amazing Salt Mine in Wieliczka, the standard guided tour takes 2 hours and you basically speaking walk down all the tour, at the end you go up with a lift. Normal ticket costs 64 zl and students ticket costs 49 zl. For groups 12 or more people we can organise a private guide for around 50 zl per person.

The unique Salt Mine in Wieliczka is one of the oldest Salt Mines in the World. It is situated 30 minutes of driving from the center of Krakow. There are nine levels of the mine, which create 300 kilometers of walking under ground. The deepest you can go is 327 meters below the sea level. While strolling through the corridors you notice all the stages of mining technology development over time and you admire all the exhibitions made there. In 1992, the mine was flooded and this unbelievably was the reason of a radical change in the perception of tourism. In recent years over 1,000,000 tourists visited the underground tourist route each year. The guided tour in the salt mine takes two hours; at the end of it you go up with a lift. Many famous people visited the mine. It has been on the list of Unesco since 1978.
